    Dear TMB staff members,

first and foremost, the collective would like to give our sincere compliments on the quality of your work and your taste of music.

‘Eyes on Tomorrow’ is the brand new single from London based Hip-Hop collective Soul Purpose. Combining raw, gritty production with distinctively British lyricism, the group have carved out their own signature sound, which is captured in this single. Paying homage to Mos Def, the group reference lyrics from his debut album in the chorus, showcasing an influence that is prevalent in their music.

The link for the latest track, ‘Eyes on Tomorrow’ music video is available here:

I hope you will consider this submission to be featured on your site.

    Kind regards,

    Joseph A. Strub

Colin E. Arthur Jr. now known as, King Arthur was born on January 28, 1991, in Queens, New York. At the age of 11 he moved to Clinton, Maryland with his mother after his parents went through a divorce. While his parents were going through divorce, in order to find comfort he found music as his escape.

In the summer of 2003 after buying his first hip hop album “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” by the artist 50 Cent, he then realized that music is something he loves and wants to do. Music was always in his life ever since birth. His mother who is Puerto Rican loves to listen to all types of music from Salsa to R&B. His father who is Guianese loves to listen to everything including Jazz. Last but not least, his brother grew up listening to Hip Hop; this is where King Arthur’s passion for music comes from.

Some of his biggest influences in the music industry are 50 Cent, Nas, Eminem, Jay Z, Biggie Smalls, Tupac and Michael Jackson. Colin infused the word king with his last name to form his rap name. To him the title “King Arthur” meant empowerment, morality, and confidence. With a positive attitude, he incorporates the elements of Jazz and R&B into his music.

In order to influence the younger generation and to satisfy the older generation, he uses samples from artist such as The Temptations, The Beatles, Rose Royce, and even new artist such as Miguel, Adele and Jhene Aiko. King Arthur released his first single “Wishing on a Star” (Prod. By Jacob Gamboa), off his EP, “Sky Lights” and hopes to make an impact on the Hip Hop culture.
