Drenge announce new spring tour

Sheffield grunge-punks Drenge have announced a new tour promisingly titled ‘The Grand Reopening Tour’ and set for 8 dates around the UK ahead of multiple headline festival slots. The trio last headed out headlining shows three years ago in 2015 in support of sublime second album Undertow.

The venues announced promise a much more intimate setting than their last live shows, in anticipation of a third album. Details of a new album are scarce but eagerly anticipated – the new run of shows at least hints at new material with its tongue-in-cheek title and will likely sell out quickly. Expect more news in coming months.

Tickets for the tour go on sale at 9am, Fri 23rd Feb here. Read about the last time we caught the band supporting Bloc Party for the NME Awards Tour here.
