Frankie Cosmos announce new album ‘Vessel’ and share new track ‘Jesse’

Arriving with news of the band’s third studio album, Frankie Cosmos have shared the gorgeous new single ‘Jesse’ – their debut for new label Sub Pop.

Pushing outwards into new sonic terrain, this first taste balances the delicate vocals and dexterous lyricism of songwriter Greta Kline with grungy guitars, animated rhythms and ambitious synth flourishes.

Written between tour dates for 2016’s Next Thing, Vessel marks Kline’s 52nd (!) release, and has seen a change in writing under the Frankie Cosmos moniker – with bassist/vocalist David Maine, keyboardist/vocalist Lauren Martin and drummer Luke Pyenson all bring their own musical ideas to the songs.

From the understated elegance of ‘Jesse’, the band’s trajectory looks to continue skyward.

‘VESSEL’ IS OUT 30/03/18 VIA SUB POP
