What’s New? Trace Mountains – Turn Twice

Known to many from his years in New York band LVL UP, Brooklyn’s Dave Benton is often working on multiple projects, and is currently putting his efforts into solo work under the moniker of Trace Mountains.

Taken from upcoming record A Partner To Lean On, ‘Turn Twice’ is a melancholy stroll through the mind of Benton, finally finishing the track channelling “the anger and confusion of the year 2017” after 8 years of twiddling around for the end product. The seemingly unconventional assortment of acoustic guitar, synths and auto tune are expertly blended to create an incredible mix lo-fi that initially catches you off guard but immediately warms the heart.
