What’s New? Leeches – Stranger

It’s the first new music post of 2018 on our wonderful site, and we’re very happy to honour it to such a great track. We haven’t been shy about our love for Leeches and we’re not about to stop now.

‘Stranger’ comes straight off the band’s upcoming EP WATUSI (named after  a 1950’s popular dance fad), and if it’s anywhere near as good as 2017’s Strange Bonds EP then we’re in for a right treat. The track is a somewhat darker and more viscous take on Leeches’ usual scuzzy alt-rock from the outset, welcome drums clatter around your eardrums as vocals come in sounding almost like Thom Yorke in his finer days. ‘Stranger’ is a non-stop burst of thrill-seeking mania that cannot be contained – listen below right now.

Leeches’ WATUSI EP is out 12th January via Leisure Records and the band head out on a co-headline tour with The Dolce Vita just 4 days later. Dates below:
