Holy Bouncer return with psychedelic new video for ‘Mightly Mad’

After a summer of festivals and supporting Paul Weller and Primal Scream, Barcelona’s Holy Bouncer bring their brand of sun kissed psych-rock to the worlds ears with new single ‘Mightly Mad’.

Produced by Alberto Pèrez, the modern track sees the 5-piece steer away from their classic 60’s sound whilst retaining those charming psychedelic roots. Following such a frantic year of touring which saw the band play over 60 shows from Europe to China, Holy Bouncer were keen to capture the energy and momentum of their live set in their upcoming second EP set for release early 2018.

On the accompanying music video, the band explain: “We wanted to represent a trip towards the subconscious. The character metaphorically faces himself in solitude – where the deepest, darkest and most hidden thoughts surface. Sometimes they take the shape of something very unexpected. The house represents the protagonists subconsciousness; the more he stays inside, the more he’s enveloped by something he can’t really see, but is there within his own thoughts.”

Unruly, untamed and unashamedly weird, this is Holy Bouncer at their absolute best. Fans of Pond and Tame Impala will be hooked – but they’re now an act that stands out in their own right.
