HOLY’s ‘Heard Her’ is a psych-pop thing of beauty

If 2015’s Stabs made an impact on you – and if it didn’t, what were you listening to? – then you’ll be thrilled to know that Sweden’s HOLY (aka Hannes Ferm) is bringing you a follow-up album in January 2018.

‘Heard Her’ is the first taste of All These Worlds Are Yours – HOLY’s sophomore release that’s a result of a year in the studio. Channeling both Ariel Pink and Bowie vibes, its a more mature, sound that sees Ferm leave behind his garage-pop roots for an otherworldly alien experience.

According to Ferm, All These Worlds Are Yours was inspired by “moving to Stockholm and being surrounded by destructivity, dishonesty, drugs and decay in a way that I hadn’t felt before”. If ‘Heard Her’ doesn’t inspire you to blast off into space – I don’t know what will:
