What’s New? Treeboy & Arc – Merge

As Leeds continues to hold firm its title of being the city to find the best upcoming bands, post-punk quartet Treeboy & Arc have took experience from their frenzied Wytches/Parquet Courts support slots to bring you a sickening new single.

From the forthcoming debut EP Not Yet, ‘Merge’ captures the energy of the four in over three minutes of brooding vocals, aggressive guitars and thundering bass riffs.

On Merge, the band explain: “The song is mostly about the decline of health from drinking too much and generally burning the candle at both ends. We wrote it while we should of been studying for exams. At the end we ran out of ideas so just sped up and hoped for the best!”. Listen to track below – and fall in love with your new favourite band:
