Kagoule return with ‘Monsieur Automaton’ and announce UK tour dates

Missed Kagoule? You’re not the only one; the raucous Nottingham trio turned the nation’s heads with 2015’s Urth, their only LP to date. But the wait’s now over – because a new Kagoule track is in town.

Electrifying from the get-go, ‘Monsieur Automaton’ is four minutes of pure mayhem – heavy basslines, chugging guitar riffs and typically thrashing drums. “It’s a no-brainer” drawls guitarist Cai Burns, before the track throws itself back into grunge madness.

On ‘Monsieur Automaton’, vocalist/guitarist Burns says: “Not sure what inspired this one. I wrote most of it whilst I was watching Terminator 2, could’ve been that. It was probably that. In fact, it was definitely inspired by Terminator 2. Terminator 2 kicks ass.

The trio have also announced a run of UK tour dates for the winter, including support from Glasgow’s Catholic Action. Listen to ‘Monsieur Automaton’ below – and then grab your tickets:
