If debut single ‘Stick the Knife In’ didn’t catch your attention, ‘Hot Simian Weather’ shows off a groove-laden new side to Palm Honey.
Kicking off with a silent scream, a dirty synth line worthy of James Murphy and machine-like drums quickly bounce in behind. Guitars continue to pile on top until the song is a writhing mass of fuzzy kraut-funk – a brief strings-synth interlude mid-song teases peace on the horizon, until the stomping bass jumps back in, guarded by yet more guitar. Get it in your ears!!!
