Alvvays release more music from Antisocialites with ‘Dreams Tonite’

‘Dreams Tonite’, the new single from Alvvays, has been teased in their live set for some time now, but be warned: the recorded version takes the band’s lucid take on dream pop and propels it to levels they had always threatened to reach.

Frontwoman Molly Rankin lilts over sleepy synths, recounting a chance romance in her heavy-eyed voice as the rest of the band weave guitar and keys into a melancholic tapestry, a ‘wanted’ poster for lovers of old. Whilst their debut soundtracked summers, Antisocialites looks to be an autumnal affair.
