When Childhood announced back in April that they’d be releasing sophmore album Universal High via Marathon Artists this July, it was a glorious celebration for all. And after dropping the smooth and soulful first single ‘Californian Light’, they’re back for round two.
‘Cameo’ is potentially the best single the London quintet have put out to date – bass-laden and groovy, nostalgic and fresh. It channels all the 70’s funk that ‘Californian Light’ did, but with a dreamy twist – featuring some of debut album Lacuna’s psychedelic vibes to elevate the track to the highest level.
