What’s New? TRASH – Migraines

Clue Records are so hot right now. If you’re unacquainted, they’re the dangerously cool Leeds label who’ve blessed our ears with the likes of Forever Cult. Allusondrugs and NARCS. And rubbish in name (but certainly not in nature) is their latest release from TRASH – Chesterfield’s resident hazy quartet who won us over back in 2015 with their Urban Glow EP.

It’s name may suggest otherwise, but ‘Migraines’ is a banger that’s going to leave you with anything but a bad head. Its infectiously catchy introductory “whoa’s” call to mind Day Wave. as soaring dreamy guitar riffs conjure up images of lazy summer days and warm, pint-fuelled nights.

Supporting the likes of Splashh and Clean Cut Kid, there’s no doubt that TRASH are on the cusp of blowing up. With a string of festival dates and a new EP scheduled for release this summer already, it’s only a matter of time before their incredible tunes are common knowledge in the indie scene. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
