Sløtface unleash new pop-punk single ‘Magazine’ and announce debut album

After last week’s Cabbage debacle, I think we’re all in need of some feminist pop-punk tunes. So who better to brighten our day than our favourite Norwegian quartet Sløtface?

‘Magazine’ is the group’s first release from debut album Try Not To Freak Out, set to drop September 15th. Working alongside Bristolian producer Dan Austin of Pixies and Maximo Park fame, ‘Magazine’ is drenched with grunge and Riot Grrrl influences. “Patti Smith would never put up with this shit” screams vocalist Haley Shea about the absurdity of body image standards, whilst catchy guitar chords whine in the background.

With a busy May ahead supporting Los Campesinos! and The Cribs at their UK shows, Sløtface have also shared details of their own tour. Check below for the full list of dates – and make sure you grab a ticket.
