We haven’t been shy here at TMB in promoting Hartlepool’s PLAZA, but why should we be? With a string of hit singles already released to the world and hundreds of thousands of plays later, they’re still as organic as they started, no agents, pluggers, labels – just 4 lads making their way around the country, spreading their reverb-soaked post-indie as far and wide as they can.
New single ‘Deep In My Head’ is the first from the band’s upcoming eponymous debut EP out next week 14th April, the exciting culmination of their hard work over the last 18 months. As all the best songs do, the track lures the listener into a false sense of security before firing into a riotous and rapturous chorus as frontman Bradley Lennard screams “deep in my head, it gives me space to breathe” culminating in captivating and feedback-filled explosion of a closer.
“The essence of Deep In My Head is around mental health and how it can manipulate you into a completely different person to what you you once were” says Brad “It’s about being lost in your own mind, but alongside the unease and anxieties of it all, feeling that you’re set up in the right place.”
