Last week, the always wonderful looking Latitude Festival released the full line-up for this years 10th anniversary event. The headliners of Alt-J and Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds may not do much for me (although Noel is quite the coup) but it’s the underbelly and Portishead that is more to my taste.
Between the 16th and 19th of July the likes of Caribou, Wild Beasts, Laura Marling, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Adult Jazz and Toro y Moi will all be performing at Henham Park in Suffolk.
If the comedy side is more your thing then there is some heavyweights of the comedy world playing that tent. Alan Davies, Jason Manford and Jon Richardson headline while the likes of Jack Dee, Katherine Ryan, Josh Widdicombe, Tim Key and David O’Doherty also make up the bill.
There is also a ton of other things to occupy your time over the weekend of the festival. Other activities available on the site include the Poetry Arena, the Film & Music Stage (with a confirmed performance from rising star George the Poet), a Kids Arena and a Teen Arena for the Inbetweeners’. On top of that there’s two new area’s in celebration of the events’ tenth year. For the first time ever Latitude goers will be able to swim in the lake and there will also be hot tubs available to those who’d rather just sit back and relax.
Below is a short promo video for the Festival and at the bottom of the post you can find a poster with the full list of all the acts performing at the weekend. Tickets are available for the event are available from here!
